a photo a day

as my one faithful reader (hi tami!) knows, i tend to start blogs and abandon them for lack of time and/or interest.  i get all excited about keeping tack of something or writing about something else and then life gets in the way or it's not as interesting as i thought it would be.  well, i am going to try again...and this time it's going to be interesting!  for me and for you!  i started a photoblog that for now is called a photo a day and can be found at photokam.blogspot.com .  i am committed to posting (at least) a photo a day for the next year, it may have something to do with that day in particular or it may just be a photo...but they will all be my photos (unless otherwise noted.)  so with that, i redirect you to my most recent posting ...as it has not been the best start to 2009 and the post will tell you a bit more about why.  but remember there's always a silver lining which sometimes takes on a bright orange hue!

Some good words about new beginnings

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Sometimes letting the past be in the past is a hard thing to do. If you're attempting to create new habits or to let old habits go, be reminded that having the spirit of Christ in you allows you to be daily transformed - press into Him as you embark on the journey of this New Year!

Happy New Year

Wow…can you believe it’s 2009?!?  I am having a hard time believing we are now 9 years into the “new” millennium.  Crazy!!  I have been sick since the day after Christmas so I haven’t had much time to think about resolutions and stuff like that.  There are definitely things I want to do this year, both things to improve my life and to have fun!  But you are going to have to wait to find out what that is…:)  Until then, here’s to another year gone and the fun of another to come!
